Having moved to kendal last year we finally got round to walking over to Hansens for breakfast. Quite simply beautiful. The scrambled egg on my breakfast was thee best I've ever had and im already wanting to return for more. My husbands breakfast sarnie was rated highly too, being a salad dodger he was a lil suprised it came with a side salad....but I'd appreciate that if it was me. Really am glad this is our local and can't wait to return again. Keep up the fabulous work ?

Weird mix of bacon butty with side salad,unable to toast a cheese scone,and if you enjoy luke warm coffee this is the spot for you,not impressed!

We visited with my 86, year old Gran for lunch. It was very busy and we were going to have to wait for a table but the lovely lady on the counter pulled some tables together in the conservatory area so My Gran didn't have to wait to sit down. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. Reasonably priced too - we were very pleasantly surprised when we paid! Only been for ice cream/coffee in the past, will definitely be returning for lunch again!Kid-friendliness: Plenty to choose from for the kids!

We visited with my 86, year old Gran for lunch. It was very busy and we were going to have to wait for a table but the lovely lady on the counter pulled some tables together in the conservatory area so My Gran didn't have to wait to sit down. So sorry but there was no taste to the ice cream I had mango one and couldn't taste anything my husband had the chocolate and vanilla the only thing he said he tasted was the chunks of chocolate

Nice clean restaurant though focused on the ice-cream it does serve meals as well with a daily special as well as jacket potatoes. I selected the salad special and it was a full meal. Ice-cream Sundays are well worth it.

Stopped her for the second time, bringing our dog. Ordered coffees and scones which were served promptly by a friendly waitress. Scones were fresh, coffees not enormous like you often get. There were dog treats in a jar by the door which we helped ourselves to. Will come again.
