Just awful, ladies toilets were disgusting, no toilet paper. Asked at the bar for some, apparently none available. Could do with a good clean. Also lacking in Vodka…. Joke of a pub. One to miss.

Spent a while trawling through reviews for somewhere in town for a good Sunday lunch and as usual it wasn't an easy task, thankfully we picked Ring O Bells. The pub has a number of small rooms and we sat in the middle where the open fire is located, bit old fashioned, but warm, clean and comfortable. Very good and friendly service from the staff and they have a good selection of good priced ales and other usual suspects. We both chose the three course Sunday lunch, for the same price most establishments in town are charging for one main course, sometimes more. The food and service was excellent. I wish we lived closer and we could visit more often.

What a wonderful pub, warm welcome and a fantastic selection of cask beers. The pint of Aurum I ordered was possibly the best pint I’ve ever had.

An old fashioned pub, not my thing I'm afraid. I like a bistro.Very welcoming though and food 5*. Pet friendly, but expect the bar persons dig to stare begging for food.

The locals all know about this gem of a place!!... The most friendly welcome awaits here and is family run by a lovely family!!! I had the roast beef Sunday lunch.....It was delicious! A must visit!! The best roast lunch in kendal by far!! Thanks guys :)
The pub had a real local feel - the sort of place you know the locals frequent for their Sunday roast. It was cozy, with a number of small rooms all leading into one another. The locals were welcoming and chatty, and the food was delicious. Make sure to check out the carved names on the window panes before you leave - the landlord will gladly tell the story.

We had a lovely home cooked family meal at the pub, in fact the best we had on our weeks holiday in Scotland (we stopped at Kendal on our way up) would 100% go there again if we were in the area (wish we lived a bit closer!) Would highly recommend it to anyone who loves good food.
