Had the family room with an en-suite which was very comfortable. Fabulous choice for breakfast and just a 15 min walk along the old train line to the centre of Keswick. Gary and Sue were very knowledgeable on the area and would happily stay there again.

Return visit to Laurel Bank, Gary and Sue are the perfect hosts for a stay in Keswick. We arranged for a dinner time arrival and were warmly greeted by Gary and his 2 lovely Labradors in the very handy private car park . Check was easy and quick the room was clean and tidy as always. Plenty of info for trips and walking routes are available. Breakfast is fantastic and plentiful and sets you up for a day out and about. Laurel Bank is well positioned on the road into town and an easy 15 mins walk down the railway path. i can highly recommend a stay with Gary and Sue at Laurel Bank

The location was great, a short walk into the town center along a path The breakfast was superb The room was great. Secure parking on property. Gary and Sue were lovely and helpful with local information Gary was able to provide proper hiking maps for the area. He knows that hills.

We stayed at Laurel Guest House for 3 nights The hosts Gary and Sue amazing! Their knowledge of the area is exceptional both were so amenable ready to change breakfast order (and the breakfast was delicious) they are such a lovely couple and so welcoming honestly probably the best customer service I have received! Room was a reasonable size had double bed and en-suite shower (shower little small) but it is comfortable and clean. It is a good 10 mins walk to Keswick town and it’s a nice walk from house to town It is a good base

Hospitable hosts, breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, good quality food. The room was spacious, comfy bed, even a blanket for the dog hosts were knowledgeable about the area, plentiful tea, coffee etc and plenty of cups glasses etc which is unusual. It was possibly a little further from the town than we would have liked but e erything else made up for that.

Lovely B and B, perfectly placed for exploring the Lake District. Made to feel very welcome, clean, comfortable room and great breakfast. Gary is extremely knowledgeable about the local area and is able to give excellent advice on walks/routes. A short walk into Keswick along an old railway line with lots of choices for eating out.

We had a very pleasant stay at Laurel Bank B&B. Gary and Sue make you feel very welcome. And they make sure you won't be short of anything. The room was small but neat. They offer a hot breakfast every morning, freshly cooked and personalized if required. If you like to go out for a hike, you should ask Gary for some advice. He knows a lot of the surrounding and hiking routes. He even lent his personal hiking map.

Brilliant stay and will return in the future. Lovely walk down the Keswick to threkheld line connects the hotel down to the town centre. Hosts were great and couldn’t do anymore for you if you needed anything. Dog friendly. Room 4 we stayed in was very spacious and very clean and could tell had recently been renovated. Breakfast that was included was great, Gary is a great chef! Great stay and in a really nice location of Keswick.

Friendly and helpful owners, spotlessly clean and wonderful breakfast. A bit of a walk into Keswick (10-15 mins) but the old railway path route made it a really pleasant walk. Having parking available was definitely a bonus. Would recommend and would definitely revisit.

Thank you for a lovely welcome, our 3 Spaniels were greeted by Gary with treats. I’ve stayed in a lot of BnB’s over the years and I can honestly say this one is by far the best. The room was lovely, extremely clean, beds are comfy, the breakfast was beautiful, Sue is such a wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you very much and we shall be returning very soon.
