“Had a quick visit here when passing through Kirkby Stephen and saw it had great reviews. We came in and we both had a pie each and they were both fantastic with loads of filling. Would recommend anyone who is going through Kirkby Stephen and looking for somewhere to eat to visit here.Parking: There is a free car park 2 minutes walk away from the pub with roughly 70 spaces.”

“Decent village pub. Booked fairly last minute for dinner but the online booking worked well. Good pub menu. Our group had a combination of steak pie and gammon mains. Both were very good. Had a nice feel to it with a roaring coal fire. Plenty of free parking outside. Lady behind the bar was friendly and welcoming.”
