Excellent breakfast each morning and lovely evening meals in the bar. Very friendly and welcoming staff and the pub is in a great location for local walks or further afield, or as a stopover to break up a journey north/south on the M6!We had a comfortable room with ensuite. Rather small for 2 adults and 2 dogs but fine for a short stay.Many thanks to the team- we really enjoyed our stay.
