I`m fortunate enough to eat out most weekends and up to press (Oct 23) this is the very best dining experience that i`ve had this year. The food here is perfection. Chef Hrishikesh Desai hasn`t been here very long and already the awards are flying in. I`ll eat my hat if it doesn`t get a Michelin star at the next awards...it`s that good. We had the most amazing Sunday Lunch at the Cedar Tree today. From the moment we arrived we were made extremely welcome and comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, quite traditional but very clean and bright. The tables were all positioned so that no guest was staring at a wall (which happened at a previous Michelin restaurant). Most amazing culinary experience! We've returned to Farlam Hall /Cedar Tree Restaurant for a celebration dinner- 5.5.23. Last evening, the 7 course tasting meal excited all our senses; any other previous experiences faded away. A variety of flavours and spices, balanced in a most unique way.
