Lovely traditional pub, food was amazingly fresh and a good selection of drinks. Staff were so friendly and welcoming and opened up an extra day for us to eat. Winner of 'four in a Bed on channel 4, no surprise, recommend this pub to anyone.
Absolutely loved the whole atmosphere of completely being miles away from anywhere apart from pure local people who welcome you no matter! The owner made me feel home from home ( literally as we're both from the beautiful southern border!) John the manager you Can't shut up which made myself and my husband laugh, relax and feel welcome! Only downfall which I hate to say was half of the double bed mattress was knackered. Service from the girls was really naff. Asked for side plates...read full review

Absolutely gorgeous ? Saw on Four In A Bed and wasn't disappointed! Such humble people especially Steve the owner... Everyone was lovely & very friendly food was excellent! I don't eat a full English but my other half had one & he enjoyed,they made me a really tasty Cheese Omelette - evening meal to die for Ox Cheeks , melt in the mouth ? Would definitely go back such a peaceful & friendly place...
