“Situated at the North end of Lake Windermere at Newbry Bridge is Lakes Quarium. Tickets are reasonably priced, and there is a good variety of fish and other animals/insects to see. Also, there is a gift shop and cafe next door as well as toilets (which are very clean. You can take a tour of Lake Windermere from here, and there is a ferry that will take you across to Fells Foot. We'll worth a visit.”

“There was a mix-up with our food and the man (manager?) was incredibly apologetic and quick to rectify the mistake. The food was good and a decent portion for the price. However, it seems the cafe is understaffed.”
