A small but very interesting visit for the kids. Tickets are cheaper bought online the day prior. We visited on a combo ticket with the Haverthwaite railway, which made a saving on the entrance fee. Can also be visited by boat from Ambleside.No toilets on the premises, but they are nearby on the platform by the cafe.
Nice aquarium. All the tanks/habitats are nicely done. It's not the biggest aquarium but is very family friendly and reasonablely priced with a good discount if you purchase your ticket online in advance. My three children really enjoyed their time here. All the staff are very friendly, approachable and helpful.

Kids enjoyed running around and looking at the varied collection of animals. The worker ants section was a highlight. It's well priced really £20 for a family of 4 ticket (buy the day before online to get tickets cheaper) so was great for a wet morning. Shame the train next door was closed for the season or that would have been a good pairing.
