Coffee Shops in Penrith
“It's a place we visit regularly and enjoy chilling over a coffee upstairs when it's quiet. The staff are friendly and know us fairly well, which makes the visits familiar and chatty. It does get very busy at times (which we try to avoid). The food is typical for the brand - sadly there isn't much focus on food for people with health issues (eg. low-sugar for diabetics)... They do the low sugar syrups which is nice though. My only gripe about Costa stores which really let them down are the toilets ! They are not very nice to use and always have a wet floor. The designer hasn't thought things through as the sinks are often so close to the toilet, it makes manoeuvres quite tricky !Vegetarian options: There are a few veggie options for sandwiches etc which is nice although they often sell out fairly quickly.”
“What a little Gem, i had a delicious piece of homemade quiche, with a great mixed salad & lovely coleslaw, my wife had a traditional cornish pastie which was also very nice, 2 x coffees and a dark choc fruit flapjack 10/10”
“If you're in Penrith, make sure to stop by Daffodils! It's a great independent coffee house, with a great selection of freshly made cakes and hot food! They can cater for gluten free too! Staff were very helpful and was a good atmosphere.Toilets are upstairs.”
“Staff were friendly and service was excellent. Decent WiFi, which is needed when you visit Penrith. Ordered a full English breakfast and it was the best I have had in a while, everything cooked to perfection, good portion size and the black pudding was the best I have ever had. Always like it when there is plenty of butter for the toast - no need to ask for extra butter here. Nice pot of tea as well. Great food, great service and will definitely visit again.”
“Nice cafe for a break while you are walking round the forest. Usual Starbucks menu, including cakes, sandwiches etc.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome hereWheelchair accessibility: Cafe is all on one level.”
