Absolutely Fab cafe, I can't believe we haven't stepped foot in sooner! Wanted a hearty breakfast before heading to the lake district for a hike and they did not disappoint! Huge breakfast menu you will be spoiled for choice. Amazing breakfast, generous portions, great coffee. An elegantly appointed well thought out Bistro that came as a very pleasant surprise, the Staff were very warm and welcoming even though we commited the cardinal sin of arriving just before closing time (Sorry Guys!) the menu is varied with something there for everyone, the quality of the food was faultless and they did not stint on the quantity that was served. What a find! Tired after busy day's shopping, we turned down a back street and saw Chapter 12 coffee shop. After a quick perusal of the menu I chose soup of the day which came with freshly cut sour dough bread for £5.80 which I thought was a reasonable price. When it arrived the portion was very large and turned out to be filling and absolutely delicious so I shared with my husband.
