Just tried to get a coffee of the owner who said we’re not quite open when they just stood outside smoking for three minutes then they didn’t wash there hands the “guy” was rude hence no sale.

Had lunch and a coffee. I asked for a glass of water and was told that I could only have one if I had a refillable bottle, so I went without. Would have stayed for another coffee as it was very nice, but I was thirsty, so I left.I understand that it's not an obligation to provide glasses of tap water in an unlicenced premises, but it's bizarre and inconvenient not to provide them. Plastic bottles of water were available to purchase but I didn't want one as it's not environmentally friendly. It has ensured that I will not return.

Looked cosy from the outside so decided to pop in and get coffees and maybe a bite to eat. Tend to want to try new cafes rather than Costa/Nero/Starbucks. The coffees weren’t great, not bad but not great. What was a bit disappointing is not having a glass of water alongside the coffees and being told to buy a plastic bottle. It’s an ok experience but I’ve had better at most overs if I’m being honest.

This venue does not know what it wants to be. An ice cream parlor... a sweet shop... a bar... a card shop... santas grotto with the sheer volume of decorations hanging over the kitchen and food prep area. Came in for a late breakfast but this was only served until 11am. Ordered 2 paninis that come with chips and salad and got a tuna baguette with cranberry sauce on the side of the baguette ( not a panini) as it was toasted with a different item causing the sauce to leak onto my food. Was told to help myself to cutlery (but others got theirs taken to them) the food came with chips that were a totally reheated not fresh as it took less than 3 minutes to prepare all foods and bring them to the table this is 2 panini. Sorry baguette is what they really are... 2 coffees chips and salad. Not really impressed to be fair... far too much sald on the plate with very very chunky coleslaw.... reheated chips... baguette not a panini served on a plastic star shaped Christmas plate... I'm over 30 not 12... then as before you just surrounded by basically other shops all under the same roof... an icecream parlor... mr Simms sweet shop and a pick and mix..... a bar... and various cards not impressed really to be honest.

What a little Gem, i had a delicious piece of homemade quiche, with a great mixed salad & lovely coleslaw, my wife had a traditional cornish pastie which was also very nice, 2 x coffees and a dark choc fruit flapjack 10/10

It was quite clear that the male barista didn't want my party of 6 + dog in unless his rude, arrogant attitude is a selling point for others. Other venues are available. Not recommended.

I visited today on business, A lovely young lady who was outside on her break greated me and complemented I hoodie, "Boys get sad too" written on it. Once inside she took the time out-of her probably well earned break to chat with me about it and men's mental health. What a fabulous thing to open up and talk about and take time out of their day to do. Will definitely be back but this time for a cake aswell.

Googled where to go for breakfast whilst in area. Lovely selection of homemade pastries , quiches and pies and lots of other items . My husband had the breakfast wrap and I had a sausage and hash brown bun which were both lovely . Lovely cup of coffee . Wish we had bought some more things to take home with us . The staff we all very friendly and patient when we couldn’t decide what to have !

Visited for lunch, had paninis with salad which were ok, the coffee was nice but we were told that we had to order bottled water and we couldn’t have tap water. Cafes should offer tap water to paying customers as standard so I don’t think this is an acceptable policy. We bought the water, forgot to take it with us when we left, returned within 2 mins to pick it up but it had already been poured down the drain. This isn’t really the cafes fault but given the situation it was slightly annoying. Little policy changes could make a big difference for overall customer experience.

This is a lovely, homely cafe. Food is served quickly and hot. The service is great as is the selection of things to eat. We would come here again.

Great little cafe. We like to avoid the chains so took a chance. 6 of us and all enjoyed our lunch, pulled pork panini, sweet chilli chicken wrap, coronation chicken sandwiches, all made fresh

This cafe was lovely. Friendly staff and a great selection of easy lunches to satisfy all in our group. The coffee was great and my salad was super- hit the spot. Others had bagels and toasties and all were enjoyed. They are dog friendly and the vibe was relaxed and kind. We were only passing through and it was a great find for us. We parked just around the corner in the bluebell carpark. ☕️???
