“Stayed overnight to help break up a journey from Glasgow to Leeds so found this by chance. Really glad we did. Food and rooms were superb. Staff couldn’t be more welcoming and friendly. Fantastic location for sumptuous local walks away from some of the more obvious Lakes hotspots. Weather was glorious and Bampton also home to the iconic Withnail and I phonebox!”

“We chose here as it’s on the doorstep of our campsite. When we arrived, we were told there was an hour delay on food which was fine. The food was lovely at a great price, it’s dog friendly too which is a bonus. Friendly & helpful staff too. Couldn’t fault it. Clear communication from the beginning.
