Out in the middle of nowhere so you need to drive and also have a recommendation - so here it is. Service great, food freshly cooked and scrumpy. Fine selection of beers and gins. We joined people also eating there as strangers and left as friends.

Beautiful peaceful accommodation. Perfect beds and lining. Warm showers and heating. Had a great night's sleep. Lovely couple running the pub and accommodation. Gorgeous breakfast included. Really interesting interior of the pub-lots of memorabilia and stories. Focus on sustainability and supporting the local community. Nice walks from the pub and lots to see nearby by car too. Can get Busy in the evenings so get booked and possibly order meals ahead.

We stayed at The Strickland Arms over night in one of their cabins. The cabin was really comfortable and clean, with heating and lots of hot water. We ate our dinner and breakfast in the pub and both were really good. Lots of choice on the everning menu, pizza, pies, burgers. I had the chicken stroganoff with rice with was really tasty.
