Mardale Inn, PenrithReally lovely little pub in a beautiful village.
Good selection of ales, lagers and Guinness on draught.
We had a Saturday lunchtime snack which was delicious, and came back for Sunday lunch which was of high quality and very reasonably priced.
Very clean throughout, well decorated and nice furnishings.
Would highly recommend a visit.

3NL Main Street, PenrithWe recently spent a week in Shap, we ate at the Crown Inn on 4 separate occasions and each time the food was excellent. Nice selection of food and ales available, very friendly staff and locals too.
