Oooh this shop sells my most favourite sweets of all time. The chocolate covered nougat is amazing. It is difficult to find elsewhere so I go home with a good supply of it.

Whatever you do, dont question the quality of their sweets. Its obviously a sore point. I was treated like a leper by the owner when I mentioned that the sherbet lemons didnt look like the ones I remebered. They seem to be using a cheap and cheerful sweet manufactureer to maximise their profits and everything is wrapped in environment-destroying plastic, so no its not at all like the good-old days, in my experience. 3/4 of cheap and tasteless boiled sugar cost me over a fiver. I shall avoid.

They have a large selection of sweets. I did get some fudge from the shop and it was off, they apologised and offered a refund

a great place, to go into, the sight of the jars of sweets lining the walls make your eyes light up. the only problem is that because of it's draw, there is always quite a queue. it is difficult to leave without buying stuff. don't go in the school holidays. if you have a sweet tooth you will be in seventh heaven. they do do gift vouchers.
