Visited the Inn at the Bush .. On my way back from glencoe in Scotland... I walked in dripping wet after riding a Honda monkey bike for 5 hours in torrential rain... Yellow weather warning... I hadn't booked and hoped they would have somewhere for me to pitch my tent.... Absolutely no problem the owner said.... Get your self set up and we will sort your food out for you.. He showed me all of the facilities which were excellent .. A covered outdoor area that had furniture and a TV if the weather was bad. My meal came out and was superb... Steak chips peas mushrooms.... Couldn't fault it... Cleared my plate... Normally if I go in a pub that I don't know I sit in the corner... But the locals made me feel welcomed... Spent the evening sharing stories of my trip... And they shared some local spots for dog walking... My camping spot was perfect and the toilets were open all night... The covered area was a godsend in the morning to pack all my stuff up... Because it was raining....i think it was following me lol.. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here ?thanks budgie

Very friendly place, very welcoming and generous, helpful hosts, and a decent kitchen with a changing and varied menu. Dinner and breakfast are important as an offering, as this place is a little remote. The pub is the centre of the village, with many locals and travellers visiting and staying. The room we had was a little snug but did have everything you wanted, inc tea making facilities.

Due to a few "hiccups" I was like a piece of chewed string when I eventually arrived in my campervan. Everyone was extremely kind and welcoming. I didn't eat only because I was so stressed I felt I would be sick if I ate anything but the pot of tea was a god-send.

We had been for a drink and seen they had a gluten free menu and a buffet lunch on a Sunday. We booked for the Sunday lunch husband is coeliac and the chef was fantastic he took gammon and turkey I took both and beef (all 3) loads of meat help urself to veg and gravy only thing husband couldn’t have was the stuffing balls and Yorkshire pudding (although she attempted to make him one lol) gravy and cauliflower cheese were both gluten free and we loaded up our plates. Next time we will take advantage of the free taxi so hubby can have a drink as well. And get this there was a choice of gluten-free desserts he choose a crumble with lashings of custard. Not 5 star because I adore gravy and because it caters for all food choices and dietary needs not the roast beef gravy I wanted so u could say a 4 and a half star. Definitely now our go to place as we own a caravan near by. Book it gets busy.

Great wee pub , food fab will definitely be back .
Very popular locals pub that does a brisk trade in drink and pub food. Great experience for our group of bikers heading to Scotland. I gave it 4 last year as there was no shower, but that’s sorted so it gets a 5. Breakfast for us was a full English and at £15.00 it was the dearest of our week away, but it was superb.

Great pub, fantastic food, reasonably priced and a great team that make it all happen. The rooms are very comfortable too, I would highly recommend this establishment...

I work for a different company in the area. So we share some of the same customers. Today one of our customers came in and told me she and two other companions went for dinner at Inn at the Bush last night. They had the steak pie, the Cumberland sausage and the salmon... their feed back...... "absolutely delicious"!
