What a little gem of a pub! Unassuming, but not to be underestimated. The Northern welcome, the great food (especially the chips, which are the best!!!) the humour, the locals (Norman, Johnny and Francis) the strawberries in the Lunar gin ??….we stayed at the gorgeous Bank cottage with the ‘infamous’ hot tub….(we have no idea??♀️) and visited the pub fordinner on three occasions because it was so so good! well worth a visit…highly recommend.
The kings Arms has a lovely 'homely' atmosphere. The food is freshly cooked to order. The landlady is lovely as are her staff. If you want to anything about the history of this area ask Pamela and her sister!We have relatives who live nearby and visit often.You will receive a lovely, warm welcome when you visit.
