Lovely food and good prices. Coffee is really good too! Will be going back whenever I’m next in the Windermere area ?

I had a fantastic experience at Brew Room! Their cakes are absolutely delightful, and the service was top-notch. Even though iced coffee wasn't on the menu, the staff went out of their way to make one for me, and it was absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend this cafe!

Picked the place at random. Short staffed but no delays. One of the staff members was obviously trying to go home but volunteered to hang on as custom had picked up late on.Food was spectacularly good. I asked about the bacon and it is sourced locally from local produce: it really showed as it was the best I’ve had in decades. Chicken was also very tender.Coffee very smooth. The atmosphere was nice. It’s quite small but the acoustics are good so it’s not noisy. Overall a great place I would go back to anytime if I was there.

We went to go to have some lunch. We went into the Brew Room and had some coffee and food.Food is good. However, the special Salt & Pepper chicken is good, but way too much salt on the fries. The Eggs Royal (Salmon, poached eggs, and toast) was delicious. You receive fresh salmon, salad, and crispy toast with some poached eggs and sauce. Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: Child and dog friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: There are wheelchair and pram access into the building.

Lovely cafe in the town. We had brunch here and they had waffles with fried chicken which is what I was craving. However, the waffles turned hard and dry quickly because of the weather - I ate slowly so could be my fault! The place is nice, with enough seating area for few people. It had a great menu for drinks. Service was really good and quick! And great options for someone who wants to eat meat and for my husband who is a vegetarian!Definitely worth the visit!

Only place that will be open at 8 am in windermere. They served the best hot chocolate I tried. Perfect temperature, not too hot that you have to wait minutes yo cool down.Bap was tasty and heavy breakfast that will let you go on hike and other activities without getting hungry.Service was great.Definitely recommend it.Vegetarian options: Limited

Nice little breakfast place. A lot of options and the food was great. We got to Windermere pretty early and good thing they open at 8, so we can get our breakfast before going biking.

The coffee is the best I've had during my 4-day stay in Windermere. The food is just good. Well seasoned, cooked right, good selection. The wait can be a bit long but it is worth it.The location is great and the street-side tables are quiet enough.See no reason to queue 15-30 minutes for Homeground when this exists next to it and it is better.

We called in for a quick coffee and it was excellent. Served by a very helpful young lady who made us very welcome without being overly fussy. Only had coffee but next time will definitely try food. A good steady stream of customers came whilst we were there. Very friendly and warm atmosphere. Will return.

Very quaint, tidy & cosy cafe. Amazing coffee, a good selection of cakes on display.VERY friendly staff, we felt very welcome. We had a mushroom Benedict, bacon bap & coffees, even got a second coffee to take away. The bacon was top notch! Worth the visit, I see this becoming a frequent visit for me!

We stopped for a drink after walking up from the lake and sat outside at Brew Room. There weren’t iced drinks on the menu but the lovely person serving made me an iced caramel latte. The food menu looked great, and there was lots of space inside

CHECK YOUR BILL ?Got the poached eggs on toast (2 eggs and 1 toast £4.25 on the menu). Had to order a second toast separately. The extra toast was £1 ? then I got charged £5.95 for the poached eggs on 1 piece of toast, not the £4.25 on the menu ?When I questioned this the waitress said the menu item was from the smaller portion for children. Eggs are eggs and bread is bread so why did I have to pay more for the same item if I eat it rather than a child.Really poor … I won’t be eating here again and definitely wouldn’t recommend this cafe to anyone else. I don’t know how they can state one price on the menu and charge a higher price on the bill. ? if I hadn’t asked for the receipt I would never have known I was being overcharged. No offer to refund the overcharge was made.

Beautiful lunch time experience. We popped into the Brew Room on our first day in Windermere, we were wowed by the welcoming service we received. We had the most lovely cup of tea then ordered lunch. We had home made soup which was truly delicious, along with a sandwich which was equally as lovely, gorgeous fresh bread bursting with ham, cheese & pickle with a delightful side salad. The lady who served us was the kindest loveliest person, she was just so lovely to us chatting about the area she was a joy to be around, we also took my parents to lunch there this week and they enjoyed their lunches immensely. I wish we had time to go back again. 5 ⭐️ in every way.

A nice friendly place for coffee and cake served by lovely staff. Very relaxing, no queuing - unlike the place across the road!
