Cocktail Bars in Windermere

“We call in for a drink on our way down to catch the ferry to Ambleside ,it’s a Quint bar, just off the main drag we sat outside in the autumnal sunshine and had a jug of sangria for two ,inside, was spotlessly clean, including the toilet.”

“Lovely little champagne cafe bar in the middle of town. We had drinks in the evening which we thought were a little expensive hence the 4* review. We also had afternoon tea here courtesy of our hotel and it was excellent. Much more food than we could eat and the staff boxed up the cakes for us to take away. They also very kindly kept them for us for a couple of hours until we were ready to go back to our hotel. Overall we really liked the fizzy tarte and will go back next time we are in Windermere.”

“Visited Windermere for a night, this was right down the road from the train station, the atmosphere was lovely, halloween decorations added a nice touch too. Honestly one of the best coffee’s I’ve ever had, had to go get another before I headed back home. Some may find the prices are on the pricier end as expected of a touristy location, but it was still affordable and worth it. Service was great and the staff were lovely.”

“Fantastic service and great food popped into this restaurant today whilst in the area. We had the Mexican platter for two this was tasty and filling by far the best meal of our holiday. The restaurant is dog friendly and the staff were attentive when required and extremely friendly towards our dog who was given dog treats during our visit. Highly recommend”
