We have eaten here a couple of times before when we have been in the area. I have just been diagnosed as celiac so this time had to take a bit more care of what to eat. I asked when first going in if they had gluten free bread ( it did say so online but best to check. ). Just average, which was sad as we had high hopes , long wait for food, I was sat by the storage area and the hoover. My margatia was half full. My friends ceaser salad was swimming in the dressing you could even see the lettace. My husbands steak was good. Won't be going again unfortunately
Lovely breakfast and nice spot on the corner in Windermere. Very poor customer service. There is a sign saying ‘please wait to be seated’ and so we stood in the doorway for several minutes while the waitress avoided eye contact with us and was walking around the cafe. No hello or just a minute - which would have been fine. There shouldn’t be a sign saying please wait if the waitress is not going to acknowledge people when they walk in.
