Salt and pepper chips are nice.Prawn toast is ok but very greasy.Cantonese special is not very nice at all and went straight in the bin.

Very hit and miss which was disappointing after reading such good reviews.chicken satay delicious, kung po chicken was just ok but we also ordered veg curry asked for it extra hot and spicy it was absolutely tasteless it was stone cold in some places warm in others and swimming in chilli oil, which hadn’t been mixed into the main sauce the chilli oil was so obviously just thrown in to attempt an upgrade to a spicier dish, as you could see the clumps of chilli from the bottle of oil, not a great experience.

Fabulous authentic food - all the family ordered and dishes were delicious. Chow mein was the best I’ve tasted - and other dishes were demolished! Lovely start to our week in Windermere.

As a regular Chinese takeaway-er and after trying all of them in the lakes, I can verify with confidence that it is the best by far. Tried pretty much whole menu.5

This place is the best! Walked in greeted by a very smiling gentleman. Kindly said it was going to be a 30 min wait, that was fine by me, didn’t have very far to go. I usually think if it’s go a bit of a wait and is busy it means that it’s good local food. He knows the locals as well, all by name, applies to me by my names, made me feel like I wasn’t a number but a person! Service was great considering how busy they were, front attendant and kitchen people must have been superman! Working hard and it shows! Food was delicious and portion sizes were amazing for a cheap meal! Added in extra prawn crackers for free. Would 100% go back again! The whole experience was incredible and I would recommend anyone going to Windermere to go here!

We have regularly visited this amazing restaurant on many holidays, but then of course everything shut down for 2 years. I was back up in the area to stay with friends and they suggested a take away, as they’ve now become take away only. The food was as fantastic as ever and took us back to our previous visits. I just hope they will open as a restaurant again soon, as now and again it’s nice to eat out. Thanks guys

Had a takeaway from here, its obviously good given how busy they were. Was quoted a 30 minute wait, which was accurate. Good portion sizes, tasty food and didn't at all feel greasy.
Excellent every single time. Chef and staff are happy to provide exactly what I ask for with no trouble at all, making adaptations to suit my preferences. Polite service and beautiful food. Best in town ?

Lovely surprise when our takeaway was so good. !! Generous portions, a delicious takeaway of starters: BBQ ribs, chicken n sweetcorn soup. Sticky tadty sauce in ribs.Main courses: Chicken and cashews nuts, which had lots of finely chopped vegetables ? and the flavours were lovely. Beef was tender in the beef n cashew dish and crispy seaweed on the side with non greasy chips. Thank you, YES ... wd definitely go back again when staying in Bowness ! ? x

Affordable prices in an overpriced area (9£ a meal), friendly cashier and food came out in 10 mins, but possibly the worst food I’ve had in this country. I ordered Szechuan chicken chow main with wonton soup, and it was extremely low quality ingredients, sickeningly sweet, and it made my girlfriend very ill. As write this review I am comforting her through the stomach pain.
