Lovely little place. We got some lunch here and the food tasted lovely and homemade. Hot chocolate was gorgeous and the bar staff were nice. It was dog friendly however it’s only a small place so it gets a little cramped. Only downside for us was that they did not provide high chairs - we have a 9 month old baby with us who had to eat on my knee. Visited the restaurant with my partnerwhen it was still called The Pig. The place was a bit cramped, but the service was nice, and the food was incredible. We ordered the pork roast, the barbecue ribs, and the liver pâté. The roast was perfectly cooked, the ribs were deliciously tender and sticky, and the pâté was rich, fatty, and flavourful. Incredible food, wonderful atmosphere and perfect service. Could fault this absolute gem of a pub and restaurant. Family run and hence attention to detail in every aspect is abundantly clear. In fact I are here three nights in a row it was so good!!
