Lovely little place. We got some lunch here and the food tasted lovely and homemade. Hot chocolate was gorgeous and the bar staff were nice. It was dog friendly however it’s only a small place so it gets a little cramped. Only downside for us was that they did not provide high chairs - we have a 9 month old baby with us who had to eat on my knee. They have baby change facilities so I just wondered why they couldn’t provide one or two high chairs for visiting babies. This would put us off coming again as it was an inconvenience no matter how nice the food was.

The food was average (we had pizza), neither terrible nor amazing. The staff were polite enough but definitely lacking smiles and enthusiasm. The restaurant itself is nice enough but very, very cramped and it was too warm to feel comfortable even with just a T-shirt on. We went here because it had great reviews and was dog friendly, but tbh I’m not sure what all the hype is about. It was average in every way.

Visited the restaurant with my partnerwhen it was still called The Pig. The place was a bit cramped, but the service was nice, and the food was incredible. We ordered the pork roast, the barbecue ribs, and the liver pâté. The roast was perfectly cooked, the ribs were deliciously tender and sticky, and the pâté was rich, fatty, and flavourful. The only downside was that our table was right next to the the way-too-hot wood burner, which was nearly scalding us. Would definitely recommend! Will visit again.

Incredible food, wonderful atmosphere and perfect service. Could fault this absolute gem of a pub and restaurant. Family run and hence attention to detail in every aspect is abundantly clear. In fact I are here three nights in a row it was so good!!

We walked past here at lunch thinking it was just a cafe/bar but decided to go in for dinner after it popped up on suggestions of places to eat, we ordered a few starters because we wasn't that hungry, well the potions were huge and delicious.. The staff were very attentive and friendly and it had a really nice atmosphere.. It certainly was not what we expected and would definatley recommend and come again.

Doing a road trip from Edinburgh to London, we decided to stay here in Windermere for one night. We strolled the village to check out where to eat and decided on The Tilly. Their curry sounded too good to pass up so we both ordered it, one as a chicken curry, the other as a prawn curry. In both cases it was substantial and magnificent! The Lancaster Bomber beer of the week was great too. Staff were nice and friendly and attentive. I recommended The Tilly!?
Brilliant menu with great GF and DF options. Staff were fantastic, checking ingredients and confirming the options on the menu. Really great options. The soup was amazing. Wonderful atmosphere too. Will be back.

Hot ciabatta prawn sandwich with a side salad and a few chips. Very good all round. Nice place, staff were brill. Suitable for dogs as well. All good.

Popped in for brunch today. Great americano coffee followed by King Prawns and chorizo, Duck Spring roll with plum sauce & garlic bread. Absolutely delicious!! Great value for money and very pleasant location with cheerful staff all adds up to a nice experience and memory!Parking: Parking across the street for 1 hour.
