“While visiting the town, we searched for somewhere that was dog friendly. Glad we found the Royal George, everything was excellent.”
Bar • “Had my dads funeral tea in the function room, we choose the traditional sweet tea, the food was beautiful, presented lovely, all fresh & plenty of it,served with unlimited tea/coffee, the staff were very friendly & attentive and couldnt be any more helpful.Id definitly come back here and reccommend highly. “Food used to be really good years ago but has steadily got worse. Burgers for example dry and tasteless, pastas full of water and the prices have gone right up.
Not justifiable at all, standards have slipped significantly over the years.”

Nothing fancy but good drinks at affordable prices and nice food , not restaurant quality of course but nothing too complain about.
Use them when we are in the area where they are.”
“A reservation was made as it was my birthday and a party of 13.all meals were pre ordered except mine as it was a surprise.chose and placed order and all meal’s were served together no one was left waiting..All meals were excellent hot and enjoyable if anything a little too much..”
