However, its popularity can result in longer wait times to be served. The staff are great and friendly. Always not bothered by them always though a bit too basic but cakes good too ! Had three coffees from different outlets and all been very nice .Bye bye big chain coffee houses this is place to be now .Also do breakfast deal which other places can’t compete with .Best as take away .

It is unusual in the respect that you can order different things as your 'side' instead of the usual rice or chips. I got a salt & pepper chips as the 'side' to mymeal - cheaper than buying a seperate portion. The food was ready at the time specified. There are afew parking spaces outside which is handy. The food was nice but maybe not as good as it used to be, however we've not been for about 10 year.

244 Mossbay Rd, Clay Flatts Industrial Estate, WorkingtonI’m yet to find a better Chinese takeaway…This has been my go-to Chinese takeaway for over 7 years now, my usual dish is salt and pepper chicken (either with noodles, egg fried rice or chips)The salt and pepper chicken here is, in my opinion, the nicest salt and pepper chicken possible, it literally couldn’t be any better for me.I have tried hundreds of Chinese takeaways all over the UK and I haven’t had salt and pepper chicken that even comes close to Great Wall’s.This takeaway is the stereotypical “not much to look at but they have amazing food”There’s no lights on the sign outside so at night you may miss it, parking is usually easy right outside the door and service is usually quick, especially if you collect.The chips are also lovely from here, they’re proper chip shop chips and they give you good portions.I hope Great Wall carries on the way they are and don’t change anything because “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!”

And they always give big portions and care for the customers feedback and loyalty!Recent times ( Corona ) has strained the buisness staff wise.The owner spends every day 12pm to 12pm in the shop preparing everything before each evening just to assure people still get the best possible service from the food and shop.There is just a struggle to fill the staff gaps!But rememberThe food is great when there is enough staff to cater to the demand in orders.I urge everyone to try this place at least once.Weekdays are a good day for better quality as you will avoid the weekend rush.The main thing to keep in mind with this shop, is its popularity in Maryport. ( making some deliveries longer due to the travel distance and shortage of drivers ) as the buisness is only limited to one driver a day, with weekends running two due to the quiet nature of the shop.Sometimes the shop can get backed up by a flurry of orders all at once and then it's a rush to get them cooked and out on time with the intended top qualityAs they can being going in all kinds of directions.And outs a couple deliveries on hold due to this fact!However; always bare patience in mind, and empathise with the other customers who may also be waiting.Kassini is now almost back to full staff capacity and the staff are great! All meals were enjoyable and all members of the group the food.I would recommend the food here and I hope to return sometime soon.

When we returned to collect our meal the owners had plates , napkins and cutlery for us and invited us to eat on there premises. The food was lovely, and their hospitality was excellent. Table service was fantastic, our waiter was very friendly and he made sure we had every thing we could possibly need. The food was amazing, the sausage especially was outstanding, but all the food was cooked and presented to a very high standard. I cannot praise the staff enough. Top quality service, top quality food. Such a lovely experience, wish we lived closer so we could come here more often,

Carnegie Theatre, Finkle St, WorkingtonWe ordered in an afternoon tea from the Carnegie Cafe for work and for all £20 might sound expensive, the tea was generally nice and came in separate savoury and sweet boxes. I didn't care much for the quiche, which was rather hard, and the sandwiches were so so, but this was balanced out by the chicken gujon, a chunky sausage roll, and spring rolls on the savoury side. However, top marks to the sweet box from the Carnegie. The scone and clotted cream was beautiful, the cakes were really well made( the sponge especially), and the two chocolate mints were a nice touch. I think most of us needed a nap after this and we will consider ordering in afternoon tea from here next year.

20 Fisher St, WorkingtonAmazing food, went to visit for the first time tonight and although we always skip reviews... this time we were compelled to write one. We ordered 2 kebabs... chicken and lamb shish and chicken, lamb doner... best we have ever tasted. Lots of fresh meat, no fat or grizzle cooked and seasoned to perfection, the bread was great, the salad was fresh and kept separate so it didn't wilt or cool the meat, the generous pot of garlic mayo was separate too so you could use and dip as you choose, the foil lined packaging kept the food warm. Will come back to try other things as it all looked very good. Very good value for money and hope this place never changes. Shame its getting confused with another place looking at reviews as there is no way this place would get below 10/10 from what we had tonight. Fast and friendly service, thank you we will be back :)

We ordered 3 small sunday lunches but it really did look like we were treated to 3 large meals.... however I do think that this is their way of looking after customers. £21.50 for 3 meals including delivery. Super value and I will look forward to more. I understand there is alot of competition around our area..but believe me I've tried so many and this always wins. I'm sure they also have a deal with a pudding included too.
