Last minute booking for New Year's Eve and the food was fantastic. Ordered nachos for one and the Oily's combo for one for starters (was so hungry I forgot to take photos). For mains we had the stilton burger and the chicken jalfrezi for mains. Both were really generous and really tasty. For desert it had to be lemon meringue pie and sticky toffee pudding. My first visit to Oily's was impressive. Staff were friendly enough. It was busy but not overwhelming. The food was good.... just looked like some of it had sat on the foodwarmer a little longer than desirable. But, it was a short notice, 1pm booking on a Thursday afternoon. So, that's not a huge criticism. Will I go there again? Absolutely yes.

Delicious fresh food, plentiful and well priced. Service was grand, 4* for atmosphere because I was a little cold but that could just be me. It was roomy and overall we were pleasantly surprised. We'll be back for sure.
