We ordered in an afternoon tea from the Carnegie Cafe for work and for all £20 might sound expensive, the tea was generally nice and came in separate savoury and sweet boxes. I didn't care much for the quiche, which was rather hard, and the sandwiches were so so, but this was balanced out by the chicken gujon, a chunky sausage roll, and spring rolls on the savoury side. However, top marks to the sweet box from the Carnegie. The scone and clotted cream was beautiful, the cakes were really well made( the sponge especially), and the two chocolate mints were a nice touch. I think most of us needed a nap after this and we will consider ordering in afternoon tea from here next year.

Hi, so I really enjoy the food here! The staff are friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is great and casual. I only have one gripe about my meal today. I was really looking forward to the pancakes I had from here before. Stacked high with fruit and American bacon. Please see the pictures that will show the difference... Can I suggest the stacked ones come back please??!!

Came for a bite to eat with my family. Paninis, sandwiches and baguettes which were so soft. Massive latte which meant I was happy. Very nice

It was ok, the hot chocolate was nice. i had ploughmans, but it wasn't like a ploughmans that I've had at other cafes. There were lots of salad loads of ham, a pile of grated red chedder cheese, a bread roll, no butter, though!! loads of orange slices. I had to ask for sauces and Branston pickle. There was no pork pie or apple or pickled onions, it didnt look appealing. Couldn't complain as only an hour on the car for parking so overall didn't enjoy it. Nice lights and cleanWheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs wheel straight in
