We ordered in an afternoon tea from the Carnegie Cafe for work and for all £20 might sound expensive, the tea was generally nice and came in separate savoury and sweet boxes. I didn't care much for the quiche, which was rather hard, and the sandwiches were so so, but this was balanced out by the chicken gujon, a chunky sausage roll, and spring rolls on the savoury side. Hi, so I really enjoy the food here! The staff are friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is great and casual. I only have one gripe about my meal today. I was really looking forward to the pancakes I had from here before. Stacked high with fruit and American bacon. Please see the pictures that will show the difference... Can I suggest the stacked ones come back please??!!

Pop in here most weeks mostly for a coffee.Had food on occasions too and can't fault anything.Really nice, clean tidy place and highly recommend it. Staff all lovely, chatty and helpful.Dog friendly which is nice if out for a walk with my dog to look in for a brew.Try it out, you won't be disappointed.
