It's out of the way to the centre of the town. It's also part of the charm.i had a lovely meal of gammon and pineapple which was done to my liking and standards, I would definitely recommend this place.

Stayed here for just the one night while in the area for a live music show at nearby theatre. Paid around £55 for a twin room which included a buffet breakfast if I wanted it, so the place is really good value. The room I had (no 22) had everything you need for a short stay & it was all clean & tidy with a comfy bed so I slept well as it was all nice & quiet. Is located a close walk away to the town centre, the train station & the theatre.Would use again if in the area. Many thanks.
Booked for one night, but enjoyed it so much we stayed for twos. All staff were excellent and very friendly. We had not only breakfast but lunch on one day and evening meal on the second. Great choice and tremendous value and quality. We shall be returning at some point in the future.

I had a drive to Workington and had the Waverley recommended by Travelodge. It was a very basic room, but it was fine for the night! Breakfast was great. I'd definitely return..

Stayed here a few times now and always had a decent stay. We were upgraded to a newly refurbished suite and although it was a climb it was worth it. The room is beautiful, the shower was fantastic and the bed so comfy and warm. Breakfast at the waverley is always tasty and we really enjoy it in the lovely setting of the function room. The staff especially the manageress are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble, she even found me some personal items when an emergency arose. Will definitely be staying again the future.Rooms: The newly refurbished room we stayed in was comfortable, clean and very nicely done.Food & drinks: The breakfast here is amazing.
