“The most friendly staff who are clearly passionate about the cafe and their town. Can’t wait to come again. Also dog friendly!”

“Can I just say a huge thank you to the little shed Ashbourne staff. On Monday we came to celebrate a birthday with lunch. Table was reserved with a little happy birthday sign, staff sang happy birthday with a candle. Food was delicious, drinks were lovely, apparently Kinder Bueno milkshake is awesome. It is and remains one of our favourite cafes. Thank you.”

“Best coffee in Ashbourne, great service and decor. Shame they don’t have public WiFi to use.”

“Always Outstanding. Not only is the food always outstanding, but the service is also friendly and professional. The value for money just can not be beaten for the quality of products, not even adding in the spectacular view across Carsington. Highly recommend the daily roast dinner, early bird breakfast (just £10 inc. drink!) and the afternoon teas. Oh plus all the cakes which are delicious. Also fab how you can add on a walk to meal/drink out.”

“Nice cafe in great location off noisy roads . Always nice to sit outside. Only downside is in all years I have visited i have never had good or friendly service.”
“Went into Ashbourne to find somewhere for lunch. We walked past Cheddar Gorge and were instantly drawn in!
Everything you could want in a deli! Huge selection of different cheeses, sauces, relish, homemade pastries and a plethora of cakes!
My husband went for the New York Deli sandwich and was blown away. Pastrami, sauerkraut, gherkins, rocket and soft bread. Photo doesn’t do it justice as he wanted to delve in straight away.
We will definitely return the next time we’re in Ashbourne!”

“We popped in here for a coffee while exploring Ashbourne. What a gem - great coffee and a really good cup of chocolate. Like most of the pubs, bars and coffee shops in the Peak District, dog friendly with a dog 'menu' of chews .. we bought a couple for our pooch!”

“Very lovely cafeteria with sweet and savoury options. Had the lamb kofta flatbread for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised with how much flavour it had. We had to wait 15 min but to be served but it was worth it. Shout out to their tap water being served with pomegranate, something I had never seen before.
The ambiance is cosy and relaxed, and very welcoming. Recommended.”
