“It's great overall, food is good, value too and enough choice on the menu. Service brilliant!..friendly happy, helpful staff! I had the fullish English breakfast with hot drink for just over £9??!!! The room however is very dated, furniture warn, old sticky wooden tables, wall paper falling off at the edges/corners, really needs a modern facelift to bring it out of the... probably late 80's early 90's. Please make use of the views rather than half covering the windows with film. If you need a designer please contact me. Finally in this day and age, particularly with next to no mobile signal at Carsington, WiFi would be appreciated to which they currently have none. Thanks, will be back soon though!Parking: Easy to pay on exit or on the same day online. Parking annual pass available that saves money.”

“Stopped for a quick lunch. Although the inside is cosy and small there's an outdoor seating area. The cafe is dog friendly which is great. The food was lovely and tasty and would definitely recommend the chips ?.”

“There lots of cafes in Ashbourne, but this is our favourite. Table service of proper food and great coffee. We recommend the beef or pork cobs on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.”

“The cafe is ok but the parking is not very good only room for about 5 cars and all around the cafe is double yellow lines and the wardens are about all the time the food for the price is ”

“Very impressed with the freshness and quality of the food for such a good price! We will be back. The food is beyond what we expected for the venue (which is a little tired) but can see the potential for some great summer days with loads of room to play for the kids outside and so much to see st the weekend with the microlights.”
