It's great overall, food is good, value too and enough choice on the menu. Service brilliant!..friendly happy, helpful staff! I had the fullish English breakfast with hot drink for just over £9??!!! The room however is very dated, furniture warn, old sticky wooden tables, wall paper falling off at the edges/corners, really needs a modern facelift to bring it out of the... probably late 80's early 90's. Please make use of the views rather than half covering the windows with film....read full review
The food and service were excellent - 5* for those. However, discovering when we arrived that we had to pay for parking on top of the price of the meal was an unwelcome shock. I can understand that if you're just visiting the site and taking advantage of the scenery a parking fee will help to maintain the site (although I suspect Severn Trent profits would easily cover that) but, when the only thing you do is sit in the restaurant, eat and leave, I don't think it's appropriate...read full review

What an asset this restaurant is to Carsington Water. It has incredible views of the water, and is suitable for walkers, bird watchers etc as they are clearly used to boots and rain coats. The food is excellent, well cooked, plentiful and good value. The staff were both friendly and efficient.
