Very impressed with the freshness and quality of the food for such a good price! We will be back. The food is beyond what we expected for the venue (which is a little tired) but can see the potential for some great summer days with loads of room to play for the kids outside and so much to see st the weekend with the microlights.

We drove 10 miles and actually were turned away here as it was shut for food on a typical weekday - none of the signs give you any idea of this, but the owner is semi-retired so only serves food sporadically. Just writing this to warn people.Just treat it as a coffee bar only.

If you are arrivng on two wheels, don't expect a smooth ride! We arrived on motorbikes and just managed to stay upright on the "rubble/chippings". How you could advertise this for cyclists I've no idea! Anyway, in we went to discover that the Chef has been gone since January so no food apart from some biscuits possibly a cake (but didn't see any) and coffee and tea. Oh and the website update to explain the current situation was met with a shoulder shrug. So it looked great last year but not now!

Worrow. This is a brilliant place, food was very nice (I had the sausage and egg breakfast bap). I found the sausage a bit too spiced for a breakfast sausage, but tasty and cooked well. The drinks were great, large mugs and again tasted brill.Only on thing to be aware of! We were on our motorcycle and the access road up to the cafe is really broken up with large pebbles and deep large pebble filled craters (it looked like it had been bombed. So great care is required to ride to the cafe.

Looking for a good breakfast before heading back to Sussex having been on holiday in the Peak District we stumbled upon the Aviator Cafe. We received a very warm welcome and had a great breakfast, hard to fault! Would definitely recommend and would return if we were in the area again.

Wonderful breakfast at the Aviator Cafe. What a great location at the flying club and end of the Runway, they have an outdoor seating area, terrace and indoor cafe. All the staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was excellent and the coffee great.Highly recommended for any time of year. We can’t wait to go back!!

Amazing food, lovely friendly staff! Fantastic play area for the children and if you get a good day they'll be entertained with different kinds of aircraft taking off and landing.

Food was good choice just a shame the tea was awful needs more than 1 tea bag per pot and the cups was to heavy somebody elderly like the lady I took really struggled holding the cup

Had a lovely long walk locally and called in for lunch. The food was magnificent and the welcome was genuine and friendly - excellent value - will be returning soon.

We went on a dog walk in the area (amazing walks very close to the airfield where the cafe is) and visited the cafe for a hot chocolate and a slice of cake on our way home. However, we were so hungry and the food looked great so we stayed for lunch which was delicious (I had the homemade quiche and my friends had the jacket potato). The homemade cakes (made on site) were particularly good! Will definitely be going back, especially as they are dog friendly and we had the added bonus of watching the planes taking off from the airfield as we tucked into our lunch.

A cyclists need for good cake and great coffee is as important as the ride! This is a great find, work is be carried out on the path leading in, spoke with manager loads planned. Outstanding quite routes to and fro. Well worth the stop.
