Great fresh cooked food the staff managed to get us in as normally we would book as it gets busy. We have visited before as they allow camper stopovers the food was of excellent quality and priced reasonably portion sizes are large. We had desserts last time but couldn’t manage this time but would highly recommend this as they are well worth having . Great place to stay if going to The Polar Express experience is only 15 minutes away . Freshly cooked bar food, warm bedrooms comfortable and clean . Very friendly staff and gorgeous cooked breakfast. Decor a little tired in places but did not matter one bit as the value for money, cleanliness and comfort by far outweighed that. Just finished an absolute divine meal at Royal Oak Inn. Staff were really friendly and polite. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced as well. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area.Rooms star haven't rated as wasn't staying there.
