Went for dinner here this week. Warm welcome in the bar shown promptly to our table. Food and service superb, the quality & presentation were both amazing, good wine list too with a good range and good prices. Once again The Horseshoes provided an rxcellent level of friendly service, atmosphere and food. The tasting menue was great value, varied and well balanced. The Wine Flight was exceptional value and complemented the different dishs with unering accuracy. The entertainmen provided by the singer was very good without being intrusive, super voice over a good range of songs. Altogether a great time was had by all, with an early return promised.

We had a lovely family meal today.All special requests catered for with a smile, and best of all the doggy bag presented in the shape of a pigeon, which made us all laugh.A lovely happy occasion with very delicious food.Thank you

My husband and I ordered the beef from the Festive Menu. Most of our large group ordered turkey. Their turkey filled the plate and came with roast potatoes, carrots and brussel sprouts. We were remarkably disappointed when our beef dish did not have the brussel sprouts etc. The beef was tasty (it’s only braised beef so an inexpensive cut!) but a little piped mashed potato, a minuscule amount of red cabbage a a couple of tiny onions and a few mushrooms did not compensate and we were very dissatisfied with our festive menu choice.
