Visited the Red Lion for lunch with friends. Booked in advance using efficient online booking system. Warm, cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Great to visit a country pub that has retained many of its original features. We had roast beef Sunday lunch with all the trimmings. With their extensive pie menu as well, it was a difficult choice. All staff were very friendly and helpful. A good value for money menu. Definitely worth visiting. Thank you to the staff.
Had Sunday lunch today. The food was first class. Had the mixed roast (beef and pork). Both excellently cooked. The good lady had steak pie and mushy peas. She was raving about how good it was. Can't comment on deserts we were too stuffed! Will be going back.

Great locals pub in the middle of nowhere serving pies, pies and more pies. Nice atmosphere, what’s not to like. Best book a table if you want to eat, very popular.Ho nearly forgot it’s Dog friendly!
