Bar • “An absolutely beautiful hotel within superb grounds. The food at the Red Lion restaurant is fabulous, the only thing I would say is the service is a bit too fast and needs slowing down as you feel a bit pushed. The staff are wonderful, from reception to the restaurant.”

Bar • “This pub serves excellent food, with an interesting range of choices, generous portions, and quick service. We sat outside with our dog in lovely weather. Dogs are allowed in the bar inside. The only downside was the tinny music failing to distract from the road noise from a nearby bypass. Having said that, I'd definitely go again.”
Bar • “Best chips in Chesterfield, lovely cheese pie to. Friendly helpful staff . Friend had steak at lady who served it came a few minutes after serving to check it was to his liking and kept me topped up with mayonnaise:) Very relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!”
“Food was very nice - a little disappointed they ran out of spit roast chicken but we understand it happens! Our sever Lizzie was really friendly, welcoming and lovely. Would definitely recommend - especially if staying at the hotel next door.”
