First time been in here, lovely atmosphere staff were friendly. Sat around the back outside. Didn't even realise it had outside seating. Was a big space really lots of space. And reasonable quiet to say it's in middle of town.

Had to wait a few minutes to be served, as no one behind the bar. When we did get served, service was good. Lovely food, good portions, good selection gf.

Ate here for the second time last night, pre-theatre, and for the second time, had a 40/45 minute wait for food from ordering. Something to bear in mind if you are on a time limit, as we were. Nothing wrong with the food or friendliness of the staff but they need to up their game with the speed of service.

Great pub with an excellent selection of beers, but the toilet was absolutely shocking! It smelled so bad - there was urine all over the floor, and the toilet was clogged up with feces. I understand that this isn't the fault of the staff, but I was there for at least two hours and by the time I left it still hadn't been cleaned.
Like this place, good German beer. Nearly empty the last time I went in.

I ordered the black and blue burger expecting it to come with blue cheese on it not a smear of watered down sauce on the bun, after this disappointment i was greeted with a rock hard overcooked bought in burger that a rottweiler would struggle to chew, horrendous food never again
