Really rude! Popped in for a drink and food but quickly left as the staff were really rude! I have been working and running bars for over 33 years, and I would never speak to customers like that! If you can't cope when there are a few people at the bar, rethink your job and maybe find somewhere where your customer services are not important!

Had a meal last night service poor not enough staff actually working food adequate and overpricrivrf

Dodgy looks and weird smell upon walk-in -must be the local degens meetup due to every picture in the pub being hunting related?. Parents seemed to come in after picking up kids from school to feed their crying babies

Popped in on the off chance a couple of weekends ago. Was able to get a table. Service was quick and efficient. Food was amazing. The beef cheek ragu just melted in my mouth ? nice, warm, cosy place with friendly staff.

Booked for a 60th birthday meal with 17 family members. Service, quality of food and drink and staff were all outstanding! I don’t normally leave reviews however we felt we must recommend.

Prior to booking we emailed our meal choices to the venue due to the number of us. Communication from The Peacock was excellent, emailing back to clarify on how certain dishes were to be prepared such as the steaks etc. Everything was very smooth, all meals came out together, everything tasted delicious and portions good! Staff members were very attentive, no one ever waited for extra drinks, cutlery, sauces etc.

Overall an enjoyable night and we said we will return in future. Thank you ‘The Peacock’ for a making my dads 60th fab!

Great food - quick service - good beer

Wonderful traditional pub in a stunning setting. Great beer and food options. Dog friendly and room to sit outside. Peacocks roaming freely and a large car park. Brilliant.

Beautiful food the Filet of Beef and everything else was delicious.

Fantastic pub with great food and great service. Lots of seating choice. Lovely patio terrace's and garden area as well as cosy inside seating area. It really is a lovely place to visit and to enjoy fabulous food. Also, you can walk straight into Linacre Reservoir from the pub car park ???

Perfect. Went this evening as a family and it was faultless. The food was delicious. The staff were very attentive. The place is clean, warm and comfortable. We can't wait to visit again!
