On arriving, we sat down in front of the bar. We were there for a while until we were asked to confirm who we were and a drinks order was taken. After this our food order was taken. We then waited a while for a table, though we were given updates regarding how long we would have to wait, which was good, though the escort to our table tended to feel somewhat rushed. On seating ourselves, again we waited a while to be served, though granted it was a busy Friday night. Then cutlery and plates were placed on our table somewhat roughly, an audible noise as plates hit the table for instance. A little later our order was served. Again this was put on the table somewhat brusquely, mushrooms almost falling off the plate of mushroom pilau. However, on tasting the food, it was found to be flavoursome and well cooked, though my Bhuna was a little cool. Toward the end, we ordered two more bottles of the excellent "Black Sheep" which were brought quickly. On the whole, we enjoyed ourselves and felt we'd had a worthwhile evening at a reasonable price and decided that we may visit again.
Foods improved. Shame on you that there now appears to be little attempt to want to maintain good relations with customers who've been dining in and taking away for a very long time. Manners and customer service have dropped dramatically when any member of staff or owner are front of house. Familiarity breeds contempt and all that......
Fantastic food served by a very friendly team of staff. Lots of choice. Highly recommend. 5*+++
Great food freindly staff
Beautiful as always
The best biryani I've ever had.
Chicken tikka biryani with a jalfrezi sauce.
Great food, great drinks, great staff, great owner!
Vegetarian options: Lots of options
Dietary restrictions: My wife is coeliac, as long as you are clever with your choices and let the waiter know, she’s never had an issue.
Parking: There’s usually a spot over the road
Kid-friendliness: They will do a curry in a side dish or just a sauce, make it less spicy and even do kids meals.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not a problem
Best Indian around
I frequent many Indian restaurants. This is a very good traditional one.
The dishes are colorful and tasty and the staff are great,
For our first visit we were very impressed both the service and quality of the food. The atmosphere is very relaxing with no loud music, staff always happy to help and advise. The mint sauce with the poppadoms was the best we have tasted as we're the chicken pakoras. This is a restaurant which we would certainly recommend and return to.

Lovely food and service.
The best Indian restaurant, the food is very flavourful. Even the Korma has such flavour. Highly recommend, would never go to another Indian. The food does not compare. 5 star.
