17/03/24 - attended to get afternoon tea for 2 (£24.50) the restaurant was extremely busy, tables were full of pots, not enough staff, one young lady was waiting on and was doing a good job but was overwhelmed.Tea stand (bottom plate) - 4 quarter sandwiches each consisting of tuna & sweetcorn, philadelphia cheese spread with cucumber, processed ham & egg.(Middle plate) - crisps & salad.(Top plate) - 2 scones with cream & 1 strawberry cut in half.The food was nice but not enough...read full review

My neighbours recommended this place to me, and i thought I'd visit.Sadly i was too late for the bacon cob I'd been craving all morning, but the tomato and basil soup was the Soup of The Day, and lovely it was!Courteous, Happy Staff and a lovely lunch in a clean building!I'll ad back in time for breakfast next time, and get some photos!

I went for lunch with my mum, and had a lovely time. The staff were very friendly. Food came out quickly and the portion was large! We couldn’t finish it - we had pie and mash - today’s pie was steak and ale and it was beautiful. Would order again. Will definitely be back!
