We’ve lived in Whaley for over six years now and tried all the restaurants. If you want a reasonable curry, go to Ikrams. If you want a really good curry, go to Memories of India. If you want the best curry you’ve had in your life, go to Al-Madina. Everything is perfect, the poppadums are fresh and clearly cooked in fresh oil, the naans and rotis are to die for and the lamb is the best we’ve ever had. It’s worth moving to Whaley just for Al-Madina, never mind the fact that it’s a fabulous place to live! ?

Not tried this place before but reviews looked good. Unfortunately the food was a bit bland, lacking in spice and syrupy sweet. Garlic naan and rice was okay.

You’re going to read this review and think they’re paying me (they’re not!) because I only have good things to say :-) We’ve been getting takeaway from here for years and I thought it was about time I did a review, as it’s never been less than excellent in service, food and price.The food is really great, with loads of choice, and has always tasted delicious- we must have had the whole menu over the years and haven’t got a bad word to say. We usually order a bit extra so I can have it again the next day, which I love, and look forward to from breakfast…!There’s enough choice in flavour on the menu for everyone, plus some dishes you don’t normally see on a takeaway menu and they have loads of veggie options.I totally recommend this place :-)
