We’ve lived in Whaley for over six years now and tried all the restaurants. If you want a reasonable curry, go to Ikrams. If you want a really good curry, go to Memories of India. If you want the best curry you’ve had in your life, go to Al-Madina. Everything is perfect, the poppadums are fresh and clearly cooked in fresh oil, the naans and rotis are to die for and the lamb is the best we’ve ever had. I can't eat hot spicy food and have spent years at other restaurants and take aways being fobbed off with a Korma. Even when I have ordered other mild dishes I still seem to just get yet another korma. Finally I have found somewhere that actually puts some effort into the mild dishes.
