“Lovely little bar which was the only busy place in town the day we were there. Friendly bar staff and customers. Good beer selection and great house beer.Also left my hat and they kindly sent it back to me!”

“Food is lovely, very reasonable pricing and great service ! Certainly a little gem. We have the Fish & Fizz deal, two mains and a bottle of wine for just over £30. Will be back next time we are passing through. One of our party was gluten free and was well catered for.”

“This landlady and bar man really went out their way to accommodate us last night at very short notice and late- we were on our way back from Manchester Airport when Baslow became impassable- no local hotels had rooms and despite turning back and travelling 15 miles we found the Roebuck!! Our room was so comfy and spotless and we had a much needed good nights rest? The bed and pillows were so comfortable and as very late they pointed us in direction of Piza place for food? We can’t thank them enough!!!! A truly lovely pub with amazing people and great bed n breakfast ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
