Visited this gem on a cloudy early spring day, and it was exactly what my partner and I needed. The cozy atmosphere, accentuated by a warm, real fireplace, made us feel right at home. The acoustic music playing in the background was the cherry on top - just loud enough to enjoy, yet soft enough to not interrupt our conversations. What really set this place apart, though, was the staff. Their friendliness and attentive service truly made our experience unforgettable. We're already looking forward to our next visit when we're back in town. A must-visit for anyone looking for a relaxing time with great company.

The best Sunday roast!I wouldn’t usually order beef as it can be tough and over cooked; this brisket was absolutely divine and perfectly cooked. Tender and tasty…..and such generous portions - we will be back soon. Thanks to John, Mike and the Team ?

Ten hungry walkers arrived by reservation after a tour of Whaley Bridge. An excellent lunch was enjoyed by all. Particular care was taken to accomodate the dietary requirements of one of our group. Altogether a most satisfactory experience. Thank you.Dietary restrictions: G/F restrictions well catered for.

This was a last minute decision as we decided to eat at the shady oak near by and wait for 90 minutes for food so we left ! Glad we did as the service and food was 5 star highly recommend !thank you for turning around our Saturday afternoon!
We booked a Christmas dinner for a group of 19 of us. The food was incredibly good. In fact I would probably say that it was the best Christmas dinner I have ever had. And mine was the vegetarian option. Also the portions were huge. There was a DJ and Again I haven’t enjoyed a disco dance as much for a long time. The staff are so kind and helpful. They really have made this a wonderful venue and all the members of women of Whaley are very grateful but we’ve got such a good venue in our town.

Are 4th visit here, the pub was decorated lovely, we booked on the Saturday for sunday lunch. even though they had a party of over 40 in the service was excellent the food also big thank-you to all of you

Went up after a recommendation from a friend and was well worth the drive. The staff were lovely. The food was fab and the pub in general was a really nice cosy , friendly place. We are both absolutely stuffed now ??
