Service was great, really friendly. Mushroom starter was like eating bullets, mac and cheese, no flavour, thank goodness for the pulled pork and sauce topping. Mixed grill was OK. Son said his fried chicken burger was nice but the fries were awful. However, the service was to be proud of.
Clean, a good drink selection and food has always been nice, never had a bad experience with any staff. Only minor criticism I'd have is (A) Groups of rude gobby loud swearing football type lads should probably be told to simmer down and behave respectfully or leave the establishment , as you'll end up losing good customers who simply don't go out to eat/drink and have to endure that kind of behavior/atmosphere. Came here for mothers day food and service was exceptional hats off to the chefs some of the best roasties we've ever had! Can't wait to come back! would recommend this pub if your in and around Hilton!
