When planning a weekend visit to Castleton I read in other reviews that everyone was strongly recommending that we would need to book somewhere for a meal. I saw this restaurant on TripAdvisor and the reviews sounded good and the prices looked reasonable so we decided to book. This was an excellent decision. We loved everything about it, the restaurant itself, the staff who were very friendly and last but not least the delicious food. We have told lots of our friends about our lovely evening and we would definitely dine here again. I definitely fancy the slow cooked beef dishes served on Sundays. Thank you very much 1530

Lovely food, all the courses we had were delicious - the beef short rib etc for the Sunday lunch was particularly nice. Service was a little slow but the staff were very apologetic about this and removed the desserts from our bill. Desserts were also delicious. Cosy restaurant with nice lighting with a very central location and helpful staff. Only suggestion is that the toilets definitely could do with some TLC - they are clean most definitely but need some tidying up/refresh.
Really interesting mostly Italian, but with some exciting things like devil arse pizza and kimchi pork belly spaghetti.
Attentive staff. Bit of a wait for food but was nice when it arrived.
