It's very rare that I'm lost for words in the world of food, but this place is beyond sublime! The fish is one of the best I've ever eaten, the Yorkshire fishcake took Me back to a chippy of my youth with its flavour! Curry sauce was the best I've ever tasted ? and the ladies on shift were an absolute delight. Just simply amazing!!!!

Not as good as it once was?

First came here in Sept 2020 and they were excellent. Living 47 miles away in Nottingham though its never going to be my local. Being in the area today we made a beeline this lunchtime. Excellent value and perfectly cooked and tasting fish and chips as usual. I tell all my family and friends if they are in the area they must go as I don't know where or how they find fish tasting so good. Last time I tasted fish and chips this good it was in Aberystwyth in 1983.

My wife and I came here for food on Saturday evening. The Haddock and chips were cooked to perfection, the chips crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy in the middle. The batter on the haddock was crispy and not soggy either. My wife had fishcake and chips and the chips were perfect also. The fishcake was very good according to my wife, lots of fish rather than potato with a hint of fish. All in all, couldn't ask more of a fish and chip shop.

Drove here yesterday after looking in hope for food, and couldn't find much. Tracked down this place and was bang on! Food was great, staff were friendly and was open when said it was- unlike some others in the areaParking: Parking right outside

Fish cooked fresh to order, good potion of chips. Service was v polite. Donner kebabs available Thursday, Friday & Saturday which is a great addition to the already varied menu.

Nice tasty chips, the onion rings also nice. Didn't get to try the other items but the kids fish bits and chips was very good

It’s a takeaway fish and chip shop, and they do that very well. Great quality fish and chips, and lots of other things on the menu too, including gherkins and fish cakes, which kept the various members of our party happy. The staff are always friendly, and I’m sure we’ll be going back soon.Parking: There’s a decent sized bay a few feet from the door.

So far, what I cook myself just doesn't help me. Each meal, is a mistake I can't take back. Cold heart, when our car broke down by bradwell chippie. Old fart, came out the door in clothes so black. Ooh, he closed the door and cooked us some yummy food Showed me the fish and chips (the best) It's some lovely food, helped me to escape bradwell I'm in Nothing left to lose, filled me right down to my skeleton My mate won a prize at the fair again. We all tried, effervescent goldfish with no objection But each time, they remind me why I need that chef. Fish pies, how I thought by now chips would be better I realized, we were cooking chips all wrong before Ooh, I close the door on my armoury too. Show me there's still some fighting left. It's a lonely view, help me to escape Bradwell I'm in Nothing left to lose, let me wrap up my fish again.

Imagine my reaction when I turn up at bradwell fisheries and they’ve run out of fish! Well I can tell you my friends reaction “huh ha it looks like there’s no fishy dishies in this place” (for context he has a speech impediment which makes him talk like Michael mouse) The owner was looking downtrodden if not a little sad and gloomy. “What’s happened” I asked? “Huh ha what’s happened” said my friend. “I’ve been the victim of a prank” said the owner “they stole all of my fish, and all the jumbo sausages.” “Goof, not the schlongerdongers!” Said my friend. “We’re going to have to catch some more.” And before we knew it we were down at bradwell Brook, Ross in hands, trying to real in some fresh new catches. Thankfully back in my hay day (dates October 4th 1997 - November 7th 1999) they called me the salmon stapler of the hope valley. “Huh ha avast a salmon” cried my friend who was now adorned with mouse ears and wearing red dungarees. With a flick of the wrist and a spin of my wrist also I had reeled in a whopper and the people waiting in line at the fish and chip shop all gathered round as we devoured it fresh together as a group. Wasn’t served any chips though and I’m not prepared to go and grow my own potatoes. >:( All in all a nice meal tho.

Stopped here last night, there were 9 of us , tried calling first to pre order , but they didn't answer the phone, so walked down, they took ages to serve us, and we were greeted with "What do you want?" They were really rude , is was 6.30 , two of us wanted Kebabs but we were told it was to late to have them, you have to come earlier?? Food was greasy and very average. Will unfortunately not return after this experience. Such a shame.
