Had a great meal here. Staff were fantastic, helped out sorting a gluten free meal, chef even specifically made a gf sauce to go with steak. Lovely olde worlde pub, even had a pub quiz which was fun. Definitely recommend & will be returning next time we're there.
Stopped on way home from Hathersage for lunch whilst walking round Castleton, just lunch today but stayed here pre covid.all good then and food lovely again, hunters chicken ? more than enough ?
Nice little place after a long hike, you have a muddy section on the left and a clean section on the right which is decent. Respects the hikers and people that are wanting a drink. Would recommend ?
