Went here over the weekend, and the staff were super friendly, the place was pleasantly clean and the food seemed quite amazing for the price.However that night, in the group we were in, the people that had chicken were very ill. Given that we hadn't been out the whole week other than to this pub, and the fact that those who had the Sunday roast were fine, only the ones that had chicken were ill, it leads me to believe that we've had food poisoning from the meal.Obviously there is no way to prove this I don't believe, and this is only an assumption, but it seems too coincidental that only the people who had chicken are ill.

Went for a Christmas meal today and it was beautiful. Plenty of food which tasted great and the staff were fantastic. Couldn’t do enough for us it was spot on!

7 of us went for Christmas dinner today, the table was set out beautifully, the 3 course meal was perfect., and piping hot, table cleared has soon has we had finished each course, didn't have to wait long between courses, Jamie is a charming young man who checked in on us between each course asking if everything was to our liking,the waitress forgotten her name,,, was lovely,, cleared the table between course, was friendly, and made us feel so welcome,, big pat on the back from us, I will be booking next year,, and hope the both Jamie and the waitress will be there to provide the excellent service we received,,, ps the food was lovely x

Christmas day lunch was excellent - so much on the plate but we managed most of it. Staff were attentive and friendly, with smiling faces. Very clean and welcoming. Would have liked to see Christmas napkins instead of white but that was our only criticism.

Called to place a click and collect food order. Was told they’ve never had someone do that before but they were happy to accommodate. Food was fantastic, and the Cookie Dough Ive Cream cake was amazing! Great price too. Food ready 15 minutes after ordering.
